Escape Equipment – “Self Rescue”
Interspiro “Spiroscape 15”, 15 minute constant flow escape breathing apparatus set with hood, featuring anti suffocation valve and comfort inner hood. Comprises a steel 3 litre, 200 bar air cylinder fitted with an integral, quick activating, air flow control valve, contained in a high visibility carry bag with vision panel and anti tamper device.
Scott “ELSA-10-B”, 10 minute constant flow escape breathing apparatus set with hood, featuring anti suffocation warning device. Comprises an aluminium 2 litre, 200 bar cylinder with an integral, quick activating, air flow control valve, contained in a high visibility carry bag with vision panel and anti tamper device.
Airline Equipment
FSI 401 Breathing Air Hose – EN139 Anti-Static (Not PVC) approved breathing air hose. Our own brand high quality hose, in hi-visibility yellow. Supplied as an assembly with 3/8” BSPT Male end fittings or complete with couplings. Bespoke lengths available – please call with your specific requirements. Exceeds the stringent pull tests of EN139 and can be used with all types of breathing air systems.

Sabre “Centurion” SCBA Set. Used condition, fully refurbished tested and supplied complete with certification and 1 year warrantee. Featuring a stainless steel constructed back plate with padded shoulder harness hinge mounted waist belt and adjustable stainless cylinder band suitable for a wide range of cylinder sizes. Circa 1997 equipment, still fully supported can be used with a range of mask types, including the full vision “Vision 3” type mask. Currently up to 6 sets available.

Sabre “Contour” SCBA Set. Used condition, fully refurbished, tested and supplied complete with certification and 1 year warrantee. Featuring a lightweight composite back plate with padded harnesses and hinged mounted waist belt. A later version set to the Centurion above, but uses similar pneumatics and features a fabric (Kevlar) cylinder band which is fully adjustable for all sizes of cylinder and can be used with a range of mask types, including the full vision “Vision 3” type mask. Circa 1997/8 equipment, fully supported can be supplied new or used, currently up to 2 used sets available.

Interspiro “Spiromatic 90D” SCBA Set. Used condition, fully refurbished, tested and supplied complete with certification and 1 year warrantee. Comprises a composite back plate featuring a unique single point adjustable harness arrangement for speed of donning, with stainless type cylinder band suitable for 9 litre size cylinders only. Pneumatics include Interspiro breathing valve with ultra low breathing resistance combined with the comfortable NBR rubber mask. Circa 1995 equipment, fully supported, currently up to 4 used sets available.

Facemask storage bags – antibacterial mask storage with drawer string closure, suitable for all types of respirator masks and other items. Manufactured using a dust free and mould/mildew resistant material to prevent the risk of the user in-haling hazardous spores.
Breathing apparatus set log book. An equipment log book for the accurate recording of use, service, maintenance and issue history of a self contained breathing apparatus set.
Breathing Apparatus Entry Control System. A four person/wearer entry control board
complete with clock and duration tables specific to the cylinder types/size in use on site (please specify with order). Or a two person “Rapid Response” type board with automatically activated count up timer.

Operator & Awareness Training
Confined Space Awareness Training. A one day confined space safety awareness training course, aimed at those persons who may from time to time operate in or supervise or manage others operating in environments which may be classified as “Confined Spaces” with in the definitions outlined in the Confined Spaces Regulations, 1997. The course would be in line with the Fire Safe International Ltd standard course description and conditions, unless otherwise agreed and would include such topics as hazard awareness, risk assessment, safe systems of work, permits to work / entry control procedures and the use of common safety equipment such as portable gas detection equipment, escape breathing apparatus and safety harnesses and retrieval systems.
Course to take place at your site for up to 8 persons.
Training at our centre in the West Midlands
Breathing Apparatus Wearer Training. A one day session in the safe use and operation of
self contained breathing apparatus. Suitable for those persons within an industrial
organisation who may from time to time have cause to use breathing apparatus for limited
periods in the cause of their work. The course would be in line with Fire Safe International Ltd
standard course description and conditions, unless otherwise agreed and would include such topics as common respiratory hazards, types and limitations of other respiratory protection equipment, breathing apparatus set awareness, pre-use inspections, safe systems of work, entry control procedures and practical use. There is an option to include within the training session a “face mask fit test” for each delegate if this is required. See below for further information in regard to this.

Costs for training are fully inclusive of all training materials, instructor expenses, travelling and issue of certificates for those delegates that attain the required standard.
All supplied equipment, new or used, is delivered with a 12 month return to base warrantee. All equipment should receive regular (monthly) inspections and test by the user and at least once per annum service. Costs of servicing will vary with type, make and quantity of equipment. The following may be used as a guide; costs are based on a return to workshop service. On site service is available, please enquire for details.
